How much does a membership cost?
Memberships are normally $30 per annum and are due every calendar year. From 1st June we offer a $45 for 18 months. Renewals for the new year begin in November. 3 year memberships are also available. See membership page.
Do I have to be a member of a service organisation to become a Member?
No. We warmly welcome everyone to join as Social or Community Members which provides access to member benefits. However, if a family member has ever served, or you have worked in the Police, Ambulance, SES or Fire-Brigade then you are eligible to be an Affiliate member. If you are a financial social or community member of another Victorian RSL, you can become an Associate member (as long as you remain financial at your home Sub Branch).
Can I become an Affiliate or Service Member?
Yes, if eligible.
Service Membership is available to past or present serving members of the Australian Defence Force and Allied Armed Forces.
Affiliate Membership is available to relatives of a person who is or was eligible to be a Service Members of the League. Also available to members of the emergency services (police, fire brigade, CFA, ambulance and/or SES). Eligible family relatives shall be: parent, grandparent, spouse, brother, sister, child, grandchild, stepchild, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephew, niece, aunt or uncle of the person who is or was eligible to be a League member
Service and Affiliate members are required to provide documentary evidence of service history.
Do you have a dress code?
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person/persons they consider dressed inappropriately for club admission.
Are children welcome at the Club?
Yes. Children are welcome to visit the Club with a parent/guardian but must not enter the gaming room. Children must remain with, and under the supervision of, their parent/guardian at all times whilst in the Club. Children are not permitted on the stage in the Dining Room.
Do I have to be a member to enter the Club?
No! Everybody is welcome at the Caulfield RSL. However, we do ask that you sign in at the front desk. However, If you live within a 5km radius of the Club, you are required by law to become a member. Sign in at the front desk and scan your driver's licence. You will be notified on the screen if you live close enough to need to join the Club.
