Born in New Zealand, Colin served in the NZ Reserves in the Armoured Corps. After immigrating to Australia in 1978, he settled in Melbourne and has lived locally in Elsternwick for the last twenty one years. The majority of Colin's work life has been in the construction and housing industry. He has a wife and four children.
Senior Vice President
Bob is the immediate past president, and has been a member of the sub-branch for approximately 20 years. During his time as a member and a committeeman he has developed an interest in the history of the club and its members. During his previous roles as vice president and as president, Bob set about revitalising the club through new initiatives and putting together planning for the next century.
Russell comes to the club as former Vice President of the Elwood RSL. A former Navy Serviceman, Russell has a background in Managing Nursing homes and has a genuine interest in the Welfare division of the RSL.
An Affiliate member, Graham has a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and had a career in finance, retiring as Chief Investment Officer of a major Australian Insurer. He is also Treasurer of a small sporting Club and a not-for-profit group who provide Community Services for the Aged in the City of Port Philip.
David is a former bank manager and publican who has lived in the Caulfield area for 55 years. With his experience as manager of the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, David brings financial and hospitality expertise to the Caulfield RSL sub-branch committee.
Shauna's work life has been in the television advertising field. She worked for Channel 7 in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. She went on to become Office Manager of the sales department as well as Hospitality Coordinator and worked on corporate events such as the AFL Grand Final, the Australian Open and Sydney 2000 Olympics. This was followed by a stint in Alice Springs at the Imparja Television Network, and back to Melbourne for the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Specialising in events, marketing, sponsorship and fundraising, Jacey has worked in the sport, events and the charity sector for over 20 years . Working with a myriad of events and sporting codes she is passionate about how a club or event can bring a community together. She is currently National Marketing Manager for the Bluearth Foundation which focuses on kids health.
Geoff was a serviceman in the 1st Armoured Regiment and has been a member of several RSL’s for over the last 40 years. Following his stint in the Army, he worked in the security industry and now works for Australia Post. Geoff and his wife Deb are familiar faces at the Club, with Deb selling the $ 2 for $ 100 numbers on a Thursday night.
Originally from Sydney, Rocky's first job was as a baker in his family's bakery. Through the course of his 26 years in hospitality his career saw him go from cleaning out ashtrays in a gaming room to eventually establishing his own cafe. Married with 3 children, he is a sports enthusiast and has a strong passion for meeting new people and working with his team to provide the best experience for members and patrons.
